Stateless Privacy Guarantee

This is not legal advice. This page explains how the privacy tools in PDF Tool Hub are designed to process files.

What “stateless” means here

For the Metadata Cleaner suite, your files are processed in memory for the purpose of the operation you requested. We do not outsource PDF/image processing to external document APIs.

What we do not do

We do not require accounts.
We do not store your uploaded files as a “library” or keep them for later retrieval.
We do not send your documents to third-party file processing services or cloud OCR/conversion APIs.

What we do log

Like most web services, we keep lightweight operational logs and counters (for example request counts and error rates) to keep the service reliable. These logs are not intended to include the contents of your documents.

Compliance notes (April 2026)

We build these tools with privacy-by-design principles to help users reduce exposure of personal data (for example in GDPR/HIPAA-style workflows). Your legal compliance depends on your context, policies, and the data you upload.
